Design and manufacture of hydraulic luffing system for a 4,2000 tph bauxite stacker. The hydraulic design included 2 x 7.5kW pump modules to meet the redundancy requirements, load control valving and hydraulic cylinder mounted protection valving. Inhouse 3D modelling using Pro Engineer permitted easy integration with the Clients overall 3D design process for mounting and piping interfaces associated with the main HPU and main luff cylinders (manufacture by others).
The project scope extended so supply of system pipe, hose and fitting kits as well as site assistance with cylinder air purging, temporary machine movements during construction, pre-commissioning and site commissioning.
