We understand the critical nature of the work we undertake, as well as the production and safety risks of our customers. For this reason we work to ensure all of our site personnel are technically proficient, understand our customer’s requirements and have a demonstrated commitment to safety.

Prior to any site works a thorough review and planning process is undertaken to determine the scope, risks and hence level of engineering support and involvement required. All of our site technicians are supported at all times by qualified mechanical engineers.

Installation

In addition to providing hydraulic or lubrication systems we can also provide installation kits. Our installation kits are inclusive of tube and pipework, hose and fittings as well as installation accessories such as clamps and bracketry. We can loose supply flat pack kits for site forming or where production downtime is critical supply fully prefabricated cold-formed kits with pre-assembled hoses and fittings based on detailed site measurements or 3D modelling.

Our engineering team will ensure the materials and connection system specified are suitable for the environment and system requirements. Generally, we prefer to undertake the installation works ourselves, but where required, can provide detailed installation isometrics for installation by third parties.

Plant and Equipment Audits

Our service technicians and engineers can assist with plant and equipment audits to identify any issues as well as opportunities for improvements and upgrades. For small projects this may flow into an in-situ upgrade. In the case of larger jobs this may flow into concept or study work for project and capital approvals.

Upgrades and Refurbishments In-situ

We can undertake site upgrades and refurbishment of existing systems in order to address identified design deficiencies, equipment deterioration or altered/new functional requirements. Typically this would involve a site visit by our field engineers to assist with scoping, procurement and off-site fabrication and pre-assembly (wherever possible), site installation and commissioning prior to final handover.

Our engineering team can also assist with updating drawings, bills of materials and a spare parts list to assist with future maintenance.

Temporary Powerpacks and Flushing Equipment

We have a number of site compliant hydraulic power packs specifically designed for use during construction and maintenance activities including system flushing and luff cylinder pin-offs (or replacements) on balanced machines.

If required, they can be re-configured to suit specific cylinder manifold designs or pump flow rates to meet required minimum flushing velocities. Our engineering team can assist with customisation to suit your specific task requirements.

Troubleshooting and Fault Diagnosis

Depending on the complexity of each fault or issue, we can supply experienced hydraulic technicians, field engineers or hydraulic engineers to assist with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. All personnel we use for our site troubleshooting work are autonomous and highly experienced and have the complete support of our hydraulic engineers available to them at all times.

Wherever possible and prior to mobilising we ensure a thorough desktop engineering review of each problem is completed beforehand based on customer supplied data, PLC trends and observations to ensure a safe, efficient and effective approach.

Site Operator and Maintainer Training

We can provide operator training sessions to provide guidance on safe usage of machines and hydraulics systems on your site. In addition, we can provide maintainer training sessions to provide guidance on maintenance tasks, basic troubleshooting as well as safety considerations relevant to the specific hydraulic application. Training is customised for and targeted to the relevant equipment.

Our engineering team can develop tailored training material to meet specific customer requirements.
